About Duffy:
Melissa Duffy is a Filipino-American illustrator, comic artist and printmaker based in Richmond, Virginia. They are also a proud member of Studio Two Three, an instructor with the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, and a secular wedding celebrant through the Humanist Society. They are represented by Bernadette Baker-Baughman at Victoria Sanders & Associates.

Duffy’s client list includes Archaia (BOOM! Studios), Dark Horse and AMC. Their work has also been independently published in a number of places including the 1001 Knights Anthology. Currently she is illustrating We Walked in Clouds, a YA historical nonfiction graphic novel written by Deborah Noyes and published by Little, Brown: Books for Young Readers.
An avid roller skater and nature enthusiast, Duffy’s work frequently touches on thanatopsis, deep love, magickal associations, astrology and more than a few cats. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Communication Arts.
